Osteria Pizzeria Daimo

I spent an evening with my family and friends at the Osteria Pizzeria Daimo' in San Lazzaro di Savena and I must say that it is really a very nice place, well furnished and perfect for spending a pleasant evening in company. The restaurant offers both an internal room and a veranda, offering several options to choose your favorite environment. The menu is extremely varied, with options to suit all tastes. We started with some fried starters which were crispy and good looking, which suggests that the oil is changed frequently, a sign of attention to quality. Note of merit for the fried polenta, an absolute must-try. I opted for the pizza, and although I'm not a big fan of the crust, I have to admit that it was really good. The dough was soft, light and very digestible, which is always a positive point. The service was very fast and precise, and the staff were friendly and polite, which made the experience even more pleasant. Prices were normal, which is always appreciated when going out for dinner. The only downside was the parking. Although there are parking options for residents and customers nearby, in the evening it can be a challenge to find an available space, and this was the only negative aspect of the evening, having to park quite far away. In conclusion, I would definitely recommend this place for a culinary evening with friends. Good food, impeccable service and a pleasant atmosphere make it a great choice.

Really nice place. Furnished with tasteful vintage pieces. The pizzas served at the next tables were high crust and looked and smelled tempting even from the neighboring tables. We had dinner with two courses of fish, a tuna tataki complete with cream and ricotta mousse, a grilled octopus cooked at low temperature with chips. Dishes with attention to detail and impact. The appearance can already be rated with 5 stars. Moving on to the taste and flavour, I would say both are perfect. The octopus melted in your mouth and the seared tataki delicious. Normal prices for courses 18 and 19 euros. My decomposed cannoli for dessert ended the evening on a high note. Friendly and fast attentive staff. I would say everything was perfect and 5 stars deserved. Let's hope they last over time😂

We arrived for dinner and there was a quiet atmosphere. Inside the place is very well kept and everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail. We took two pizzas, mine was more stuffed while my father's was with sausage. Both very good and the dough, leavened for 48 hours, was very light. The pizza is both beautiful and good. The service is always present and never appears intrusive. The desserts are also very good (tenerina and mascarpone). The super friendly staff. A pizzeria to keep marked on the list
